Travelling from points North

Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway (I-95/ I-495 South) towards Annapolis/Richmond. Take 95 South to Route 50 West (Washington). Follow Route 50 West and it will become New York Avenue. Stay on New York Avenue until you join Massachusetts Avenue. This will happen near 7th Street (stay to your right as there are two left turn lanes). This is a high traffic area so please be careful. Continue on Massachusetts Avenue. Follow Massachusetts through the tunnel (this is under Thomas Circle), you will then go to the next circle (Scott Circle) bearing to the right out of the circle onto 16th Street. The Hotel Rouge will be halfway down the block on the right hand side of the street.

Travelling from points South

Take I-95 North to I-395 North to the 14th Street Bridge. As the lanes split, follow signs to Route 1 North/ 14th Street as you are crossing the bridge. Route 1 becomes 14th Street. Continue on 14th Street until you get to Rhode Island Avenue (You will go around Thomas Circle just before reaching Rhode Island Avenue). Continue to 16th Street and make a right turn. The Hotel Rouge will be halfway down the block on the right side of the street.

Travelling from points East

Follow Route 50 West and it will become New York Avenue. Stay on New York Avenue until you join Massachusetts Avenue. Travelling from points West

Take Route 66 East. Stay on 66 East and you will go over the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. As you cross the bridge, stay in the left lane and follow the signs for Constitution Avenue. Turn left onto 18th Street, NW. There are two left turn lanes at this intersection. Take a right turn onto H Street, NW. Then make a left turn onto 16th Street, NW. As you cross L Street stay to your right (above ground, do not go under circle). Go one half turn around the traffic circle exiting back onto 16th Street. Go one half block and Hotel Rouge will be on your right.

Travelling to points North

Exit Hotel to the right on 16th Street and go to the light and turn right onto P Street. Turn right on 14th Street. Go to L Street and turn Left. This will turn into Massachusetts Avenue. . Stay in the middle lane of Massachusetts Avenue as you get closer to 9th Street. The middle lane will lead you onto New York Avenue. Once on New York Avenue continue to either the Baltimore Washington Parkway (295) or 95 North.

Travelling to points South

Exit Hotel to the right on 16th Street and go to the light and turn right onto P Street. Turn right on 14th Street. This will lead you over the 14th Street Bridge and become 395 South and eventually join into 95 South. (For guests travelling to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport follow signs as you travel over the 14th Street Bridge for the airport, which are on your right).

Travelling to points East

Follow the Directions under Travelling to points North. Once on New York Avenue, follow all signs for 50 East (Annapolis).

Travelling to points West

Exit Hotel to the right on 16th Street and go to the light and turn right onto P Street. Turn right on 14th Street. This will lead you to Constitution Avenue and make a right turn. Constitution Avenue will lead you over the Roosevelt Bridge. Follow signs for Route 66 West. (If travelling to Dulles Airport follow 66 West to the Dulles Access Road).

Travelling to points Northwest

Exit Hotel to the right on 16th Street and go to the light and turn right onto P Street. Turn right on 14th Street. This will lead you to Constitution Avenue and make a right turn. Constitution Avenue will lead you over the Roosevelt Bridge. Stay to your right and follow signs for GW Parkway. This will take you to 495 North (Maryland). Take 495 North to 270 North.
